At Information Delivery Systems (IDS) we recognize that our clientsą information needs vary greatly in scope as well as in depth. Therefore, we have designed our information management services to reflect that understanding. IDS offers a wide range of information services that allows for any depth of analysis that our clients may need.

Online Database Searches

Our online database searches provide you with information about web sites, articles, and books that are relevant to your inquiry. This low cost approach provides our clients with the acquired information in the form of an information reference list. While some clients prefer to obtain a reference list and perform the document retrieval themselves, other clients choose to take advantage of our Document Delivery Service. For a small additional fee, IDS will provide copies of any documents that our clients request.

Additional Service and Analysis:

If our clients feel that their information needs require further depth in information reporting and analysis, IDS can provide additional levels of service that penetrates more deeply into the topic of inquiry. This time-effective, full-service option can be implemented in many ways. For example, some of our clients may prefer that we obtain copies of the documents identified by the online search, review them, and forward to them a selection of the documents that we feel would be most useful. Other customized information delivery may take the form of an annotated bibliography of the most important articles, a topic outline, or a summary report to make the results of an online database search more useful to our clients.

Fact Finding

Sometimes our clients need the answer to a specific question or set of questions, rather than a selection of sources about a topic. To accommodate this need, IDS offers a cost-effective service that provides our clients with just the raw data gathered from our search. Our clients can then read the text, chart, or table, find the information that applies to them, and extract it for their use. If further depth in analysis is preferred, IDS can provide an extra level of service by extracting the requested data and re-formatting it into a summary.

Tracking Service

The IDS electronic tracking service is an update service that provides our clients with the information they need to state up-to-date with a particular subject, company, industry, product, service, regulation, individual, or political development. On a continuous basis, we will scan the relevant online database sources for the latest information on your topic, and forward the results to you.

Summary / Analysis

There are times when a customized report that provides our clients with a summary / analysis of specified information is in order. IDS is able to provide our clients with a full-service, in-depth summary / analysis, of any area of inquiry. In order to effectively perform the service, we work closely with our clients during this two step process. The first step consists of a preliminary scan of the available information on the topic of inquiry. From there, we meet with our clients to determine a more refined research design that includes a focused set questions from which to start a comprehensive search. Once the comprehensive search is executed, we analyze the data and present an information summary sheet that utilizes our unique information delivery interface.

Company and Industry Information:

Investors as well as those making marketing decisions often request company and industry information. These projects usually involve a combination of our Online Database Searching, Fact Finding, and Summary/Analysis services. If our clients request company or industry information, we will discuss with them the types of information available on their topic so they can select those aspects of most interest to them as well as their preferences for the amount of analysis they need.

Subscription Members Online Services

Information Delivery Systems (IDS) offers a variety of online services for subscription members. The services include multiple email accounts--including separate business and personal accounts, online access to all your custom reports, and online personal information management tools that include workgroup calendars and online applications and storage. Additionally, the IDS website provides business resources including travel and local resource information reference tools, and personalized news/entertainment pages.
